The hostel was really cozy and nice. The rooms were big and clean, and the bed was actually nice and soft for once. The large kitchen had loads of equipment and there was a cozy living room. Location-wise, it was right downtown, making it easy to access a lot. the staff members were really kind and made us feel at home.
The only thing I didn’t like was that it was a very noisy hostel. The walls were extremely thin and there was also a lot of noise from the streets.

the manager was really nice and knowledgeable, and the beds were super comfortable. We loved that every dorm had an openable window, allowing for fresh air. the kitchen was great and always kept clean. the lounge area had a beautiful view of downtown and the couches were really comfy. It's definitely one of the nicest hostels we've stayed at, and the prices were reasonable. Cons: Hard to think of anything 🤔.

The location was also very convenient, with plenty of great eateries nearby. I particularly enjoyed the common cook/eat and chat area, which was clean and well-maintained.
the bunk beds in my room were quite uncomfortable and noisy, as you could feel every movement from the people above and below. the shared bathrooms were not well-maintained, especially the showers, and some of them were even lacking toilet paper.

Clean and comfortable rooms, with a friendly atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen was a bonus, and the location was convenient for accessing the city center. The staff was helpful and accommodating.
One drawback was the noise from a nearby karaoke bar at night. However, using earplugs helped to minimize the disturbance.

During my recent stay at a guesthouse in Nanaimo, I had a fantastic experience. The front desk manager, Tyler, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location of the guesthouse was ideal, as it was within walking distance of the harbor and the old town. I also found it easy to catch a bus to the ferry terminal when I needed to. The bed in my room was super comfortable, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the shared bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well-appointed, making it easy for me to use them during my stay. I especially appreciated the spacious lounge area with its stylish decor and ample windows, providing a bright and inviting atmosphere.
While my stay was overall very pleasant, there were a few minor drawbacks. the bunk beds in my room were a bit rickety and squeaky, which made it slightly uncomfortable when the person below me moved.
